About Us
F.H. Wood Construction was established in 1989 with a two man crew in Farmington New York. Our venture began to grow in 1992 after putting in many long hours building house after house. Setting our sites on much larger homes we added two more contractors to handle the increase in construction size and volume.
In the 1997 we purchased a 6036 Skytrak fork lift to further assist and benefit the construction process making for a less timely and more cost effective build. The Skytrack proved to be especially helpful as our new home construction projects exceeded 3000 square feet. For the next several years we built over 30 large custom homes in and around Perinton, New York.
In 2005 we added decks, town homes, and small commercial projects to our portfolio of successful projects. As we continue to grow we're looking forward to many more years of successful framing and construction projects in and around the greater Rochester area.
